A great pipe band kilt has to do two things: look uniform from the first row to the last, and stay comfortable through long parades and performances. Fiona measures carefully, matches pleating and set, and finishes each kilt to hold its shape - so the band presents as one.

Fiona Kraiger brings over 50 years of experience shaped by both tradition and hands-on involvement. Raised in a pipe band family - with her father, brothers, and nephews deeply involved - and guided by a mother who was a highland dancer, teacher and devoted dance mum, Fiona has lived this world from every angle.
She has been a dancer herself, is now a dance mum to Charlotte, teaches dancers, and has marched and performed with pipe bands as a tenor drummer. That full-circle perspective gives her a sharp eye for fit, movement, and the details that matter under competition rules and on parade.
With a lifetime immersed in highland dancing and pipe bands, Fiona brings that deep, practical knowledge into every kilt she makes - ensuring it's not just correct in appearance, but comfortable, secure, and built to perform.
